# FIS GATES

> FIS GATES (https://fis-gates.com) shows live FIS points for every FIS alpine ski race — men and women, slalom, giant slalom, super-G, downhill and alpine combined — calculated in real time from FIS live timing with no delay. It is a free alternative to FISpoints.com's paid live tier.

## What it does
- Calculates race points, the race penalty (A + B − C) / 10 plus category adder and minimum, and final FIS points live, after every finisher.
- Projects points after run 1, counting racers still to start.
- Colours each racer: green if the result beats their current FIS points list, orange if it improves one of their best season results, red otherwise.
- Keeps results up after live timing ends until FIS publishes the official results with points.
- Covers World Cup, Europa Cup, FIS, NJR, National Championship, CIT and ENL races, using the current FIS points list.
